Warrior Talk with GI Jenn & Jeff Gonzales:  Tiffany Bitz and CDR Mark McGinnis

First, we have Tiffany Bitz, sister of US NAVY SEAL Danny Dietz.  She's The VP of The Danny Dietz Leadership & Training Foundation, Inc.  It's purpose is bettering the community by training & mentoring at risk youth. This unique program is built around a combination of academic tutoring, drug & alcohol awareness programs, health & nutrition courses, leadership skills classes and disciplined fitness training designed to better prepare our students for healthy productive lives and future career opportunities. By holding close to the values and discipline modeled by Danny himself, the organization strives to create a safe and positive environment in which young people can learn teamwork, leadership skills, and learn to achieve more through intellectual and physical challenges.

Then we have CDR Mark McGinnis back. After graduating from US Naval Academy, he served in the U.S. Marines as a Quality Assurance Officer. Three years later, Mark felt duty-bound to fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming a U.S. Navy SEAL, and in 1996 became 1 of only 4 Marine Officers in history to be awarded an inter-service transfer to the U.S. Navy Seals.

LCDR McGinnis was assigned to Special Operations Command Center where he completed numerous deployments in support of Operations Noble Eagle, Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. During his career as a SEAL officer, Mark has earned the reputation of “Top Operator” and proudly led more than 400 SEAL operators through numerous real world & training evolutions with zero mishaps. May of 2009, Mark received the rank of Commander.  We'll be discussing the SEAL Legacy Foundation.
