    Turning a seminar into profits for your small business.

    Today we will be visiting with Darrell again. Darrell is scheduled to return from Baltimore where he has been attending a small business marketing seminar.

    I will ask what he has learned that he would like to share with us and in particular we will talk about going to small business seminars on any subject and why many small business owners simply do not benefit from their work. We at www.WarrenRossConsulting.com would like to make sure that all the attendees of our seminars benefit as much as possible.

    First of all everyone always tells you to apply what you have learned, but usually there is so much information that this is difficult. The biggest secret is this:

    Apply one or two things immediately that will have the biggest impact on your business’ bottom line net profits. You must apply these one or two things that you learned within a week. Don’t get bogged down in all of the other things that you can do. Simply do the most important.

    To analyze what is the most important things you learned from your time at the seminar, ask yourself which thing you learned will have the greatest positive impact on you net profit. If you don’t know, then pick 2 items that seem to qualify and test them. Action is the key. Your small business profits will soar if you are always finding and applying one or two new things that have potential to help your small business to become better at its main objective, net profit.
