Walking With Dr. King

Our guest this evening is Civil Rights Icon "Dr. Virgil A. Wood." Dr. Wood worked with the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. from 1956 until his impending assassination in 1968.

 

Since Dr. King's Death in 1968, Dr. Virgil A. Wood has continued to keep the work of Dr. King alive. In 1998 Dr. Wood founded the Martin Luther King PhD. studies at the Union Institute University of Cincinatti now with 36 PhD. candidates doing interdisciplinary studies on public policy, leadership, or humanities regarding some aspect of Dr. King's life.
