Yes, that Red Head from Hollywood, one of the 100 Most Influential Jewish women as stated by author Maxillian Delafayette, Arlene Peck! This woman is smart, sexy, and funny...you will love her, beyond a doubt!
She was kind enough to send me this BRIEF--my emphasis, and you will agree!--of her remarkable life, and people, she is definitely a WARCHICK woman!
A woman who has always heard the drum of a different drummer. She is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. During the early years she thought she was "pot-roast;" then came the discovery that she was actually "chateaubriand. " Arlene Peck founded and was president of many Jewish organizations in that city… ORT, Friends of Technion, and Hadassah to name a few. Along the way, she became the first female Vice president of a synagogue in that city.
One thing led to another and for a period of over six years she was the only woman to ever lead a discussion group at the Atlanta Federal Penitentiary. Eventually, she was barred from the prison because of her insistence in bringing a kosher food plan and acknowledgment of Jewish holidays to the Jews incarcerated at the prison.
While still living in Atlanta, Arlene was one of the original twenty five members of the committee that began the Martin Luther King parade. That event is huge today.
In 1976, She then traveled to Russia was detained by the KGB for smuggling prayer books and Jewish stars into the synagogues there. Because Arlene was traveling with the Los Angeles Press Club and the Russians at that time were looking for good press coverage, she was shortly released.
That led to her keeping a diary of her experiences and that led to a column. Syndication followed.
Arlene Peck is now an internationally syndicated columnist and television talk show hostess. Her celebrity interview television show: Wow! It’s Arlene Peck is rated among the top ten shows on West Coast cable network. Arlene is now a weekly commentator on: "Shalom TV," the National Jewish channel. The show can be seen nationally on Comcast and Time Warner . Arlene serves as an expert on the Middle East for radio station KABC and is in high demand as a speaker in other forums.
In June of 1982 she spent five weeks in Israel as a journalist. She was there when the first Lebanese-Israeli war broke out and filed dozens of first hand reports of the war from Beirut and Israel. Arlene was also in Lebanon during Operation Accountability in 1993.
Arlene travels extensively worldwide; reporting on such diverse topics as political events, travel insights, openings, and must see spots. If there is a place to see and be seen, she’ll write about. Her audience is international. Arlene’s weekly syndicated column is read by millions. Her television show, which has been running for seventeen years, can be seen nationally every Monday night.
Arlene Peck is listed in the 100 most influential Jewish women, (htt://www.worldjewishnews agency.com ) and featured in magazines such as Lifestyles where Arlene was featured as: “Politically Incorrect and Loving it.”
She has also written two other books and been mentioned in four others. In Nov 07, Arlene was the guest honoree at the America Truth Forum symposium : "Understanding the Threat of Radical Islamist Terrorism."

You love him, WARCHICK's got him! The genius behind www.newmediajournal.us Frank Salvato analyzes life in the world of war where we find ourselves now. If you've read him--and are reasonably intelligent--then you love him. Be sure to call in early--I'm expecting some serious phone jams here!
