Walter Martin taught that,"The truth of the resurrection is validated by whether or not a person has an encounter with the risen Christ." It is a personal encounter with the living Savior, JesusChrist, that transforms lives.
People often dismiss the resurrection by saying it was impossible, simply because they never saw it or experienced it themselves. But to refute a miracle, you must provide the proof that it did not occur--you can't just call it impossible and "define it out of existence," as the famous philosopher, David Hume, tried to do. Miracles are proven or disproven by evidence, not definition, and there is overwhelming historical and eye witness evidence that the resurrection of Jesus took place.
Tonight, Walter Martin defends the supernatural, miraculous bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ from the critics of Christianity.
