The rapid rise of the Gnostics in modern times can be directly traced to Mary Baker Eddy and her much publicized denial of biblical theology.  Christian Science, Unity, and other Gnostic cults all began with a revival of the same false teachings the Early Church fought against 2000 years ago.  According ot the Gnostics, we all share part of God's nature--the "Christ idea;"  Jesus was not infallible; and the Trinity is a "heathen" belief.

Tonight, Walter Martin examines the theology of the Gnostics, including the Gnostic trinity--light, truth, and love, the "triply divine principle"--and refutes the Gnostic definition of Jesus Christ as the "Christ idea."
