RAY JEOVANNII BORJA  A STUDENT AT [WORD OF LIFE BIBLE INSTITUTE]. TELLS HE'S TESTIMONY  OF NOT TURNING BACK!

Why should I build my Life on God's Promises? Hebrews 11:8-11,13-16,39.

ACT ON THE PROMISE...HEBREWS 11:8-9. We are reminded of the faith journeys of several Old Testament heroes, and we are challenged to follow their examples, trusting our spiritual vision over what our eyes can see. How would you describe the difference between living by physical sight and living by faith? Eyesight helps us see and make decisions about the physical world. Faith, on the other hand, helps us to see, that trusting God to the extent of having assurance His promised blessings are real and the events He has announced will occur. It's being confident that He says what He means and means what He says that it all will come to pass.

...EVEN WHEN THE PROMISES HASN'T BEEN FULLFILLED. HEBREWS 11:10,13-16,39.  Many christians today prioritized receiving God's blessings. We just want, want, want more stuff from God. It's as if our commitment to the Lord hinges on a carrot of blessing and fulfilled promises dangling before us. Not so with Abraham. and perhaps the ability to act in faith, even when God hasn't fulfilled His promises, is what seperates the Heroes (of faith) from the zeros.

REMEMBER THE PROMISOR IS FAITHFUL. HEBREWS 11:11. We must know without a shadow of dought, that God is who He says He is. We must "believe that He exists and rewards those who seek Him" (Heb. 11:6).
