Revelation Revealed: The Mighty Angel - Revelation 10

A. We come to Revelation 10 and if you were expecting the seventh angel to sound the seventh trumpet, you are going to be disappointed.

1. You will remember between the breaking of the sixth and seventh seals we experienced an interruption. That heavenly pause allowed John to describe how God remembers mercy in the midst of wrath and seals a host of Jews and Gentiles.
2. We have come to another such interruption, we have another pause or parenthesis between the sixth and seventh trumpets.
3. The sixth trumpet has already sounded, but the seventh trumpet does not sound until Revelation 11:15.
4. These interruptions, or parentheses are parts of the whole. They are not unconnected segments.

B. Before the seventh angel blows his trumpet, John takes a needed break from detailing the carnage on earth. This chapter before us is very important as it brings to our attention, The Mighty Angel.
