Lets see from the horrors of Hilliary to the mendacity of Mccain and his double talk on issues. We still cant trust a man that will divorce his enduring wife with children after returning from war for a Barbie doll to then call the current one a c u n t in public. Know your candidates and I agree we should check the list and check it twice. Don’t get brand new when it comes to one because its not a familiar face of the last 42. We have seen 42 presidents and in my opinion Obama cant do any worse than Bush. This entire presidential contest has taken me on stroll through memory lane. I think about the past and the present where we have been and how we got here. The sixties and what it meant to so many and the obstacles and accomplishment. There is still work to be done. Just look at FISA. Through it all it would only be pretentious to disregard what Rev Wright exclaimed. We all knew deep down where that came from yet we chose to act like we didn’t know. We know that America has not always been true to its colors. The melting pot has not equally shared is dividends with those who built this country or even recognized very important innovators. Equality has not always been the rule when it came to justice, business and opportunity. Today, women and minorities have made some leaps and bounds yet the list is not complete. Though in the midst we have seen improvement with civil rights in some businesses, job positions hiring. Like wise we have seen some failures of the rights of others like the civil rights of our children in the educational institutions. We have failed to keep hope alive in many that are suffering from our lack of standing up and speaking out because its not you or hasn't happen to you. This is all my opinion and you have yours. Still that brings us to realize that we need a change and a continued fight in this country for whats right. Not just salvation, additionally a salvage of our constitutional rights before it is destroyed by bandits like BushFISA and HR 1955. We want equal justice and to close some of these disparities that we are seeing from the court house, to the school house, to the lawyers office, on the job, in the hospital, etc., and even in the WHITE House. We have two candidates and inspite of the terror cartoons, and the boogie man approach, 9/11 we have to keep our head on. Americans we are, remember and if you live in this country if nothing else we come together here on this land. Obama for president, and Mccain you have two candidates look at ths one not born on American soil and the other you say visited another country and wore their traditional garb. Both qualified and two very different platforms. If you say you are neutral don’t worry you will only be helping the percentage of the other as far as numbers goes. So really your not. If you are buying gas for your car the blood is still on your hands for the war over oil. So you don’t get off any easier than the next guy. Both Candidates have talked about their platforms on the Trade, security, abortion, gay issues and Obama has even spoken dearly and directly to the African American communities about what we know is an issue for us. Fatherless homes as we already know and if you don’t go to the U.S. Census website, he speaks from experience. While the NAACP has a problem with Obama on this they were loving it from Bill Cosby, maybe he donated more. Yet, we want to scream don’t say that but its true. Nothing new it is what it is family. Keep it real. So if the shoe fit wear it and it should inspire us to change it. Now with that said he also I know supported the FISA I am clue less to what he was thinking. I have said that about my mother, my husband and my children when they have made decisions that I could not understand as to how they got there. I was disappointed to say the least but the realty is I was more disappointed that Bush and his flunkies created this bill and Bush signed it. It doesn’t start or end with Obama he is just a natural man. Realistic expectations need to be reminded as we self reflect. No one is perfect or will have all the answers Obama cannot change this country no more than the churches, pastors have. It will take all of us. We have hundreds of churches in communities that still are plagued with teen violence, aids, drugs, lack of after school programs and community support. So if you know the good your ought to do than DO IT on any issues that requires one to take a stand.
I hear and read all these blogs about people think Obama is the black Jesus. I want to say oh really? So when those folks voted for Bush they must have thought of him as the white Jesus. Can a black man be president in this country is ok with you. We should look at every strand of hair on this brother’s dome like we checked Bush. Those who voted for Bush I wonder how they feel about him now? Well there is only one Messiah as far as I know and its not Mccain nor Obama. So where’s the cartoons with Mccain with a half face like Bush and putting his hand in the cookie jar getting caught by his wife to call her a the c word. So for those of you that looking at any presidential candidated as the Messiah, look again as progressive as Obama is he is sure going to need him. All the judas’s and jezzelbels out there just tearing this candidate apart like he come to do worse than Mccain think again. There is a prayer service some where waiting for you too. Code words and titles as Christians, patriots, all of the above don’t mean a thing when these true believers will be the same ones to steal, kill and destroy and attack this candidate like they were the devil themselves. So check yourself, is your expectation of this candidate any different from what you have expected of any other and is not voting the going to improve the quality of life for hard working Americans in this country. My contention is that if we don’t bring in new blood, for sure nothing will change. We have got to do something. So vote, please and let your passion and your heart lead you where you should follow. The election is only a few months away and lots can happen but will you be sitting on the side lines or playing on the team.
Peace and Blessings
