Welcome to the new dry paradigm.
Yes Kevin Costner got it wrong.. again. It won't be a water world. At least not in California or most of the west. But we are in for more than the usual 10ish year weather cycles that natives (odd misnomer for those born here, not native to here) like us who grew up here are used to. The new paradigm is a feast and famine cycle of 90% dry time and maybe a couple of monster storms, which hardly makes up for a usual rainy season.
Let's explore some of the nuances and politics involved in this likely to come natural (maybe) disaster. Maybe soon we will realize that California is next to an ocean with thousands of gallons of drinking water.. maybe..
