Its A Wacky World

A lone wolf cries out for sanity in an insane world

  • Archived Blog Post

    Date / Time:

    Debut weekend moved

Due to events that were unforeseen - the debut of "Its A Wacky World" had to be moved up 1 month. The premiere show is scheduled for SATURDAY, APRIL 7TH AND 8TH @ 6 P.M. (CDT)

I do plan on actually doing this program - and I have lots of exciting things in store for it. I am attempting on bringing on NATIONALLY known figures and guests from both the left and the right to do interviews and guest spots. For example, I was trying last February to book former Democratic Presidential candidate - Iowa governor Tom Vilsack to come on my show - and then he ended his campaign a few days before my show was to actually debut.

I have also been in contacts with a lot of Democratic campaigns - most notably - the Dennis Kucinich campaign. Kucinich right now is the only presidential candidate right now who is "contemplating" bringing up legilislation to Congress that would in fact attempt to impeach President Bush.

In the mean time - I will bring this show to you in the best way that I know how. You'll have to bear with me the first few shows as I learn and enter a new format.

In the meantime - you may help me select an opening intro for this new show.

Your choices are (you might actually have to find these songs online somewhere):

    A. Beatallica's "The Thing That Should Not Let It Be"
    B. Blue Oyster Cult's "Don't Fear The Reaper"
    C. Bruce Hornsby's "The Valley Road"

    E. Danzig's "She Rides"
    F. Electric Light Orchestra's "Livin' Thing"
    G. Frank Sinatra's "Under My Skin"
    H. Heart's "Will You Be There In The Morning?"
    I. Leonard Cohen "Woke Up This Morning" (The Sopranos' Theme Song)
    J. Metallica - "The Ecstasy of Gold" (From their Album S&M)
    K. Pink Floyd's "Keep Talking"
    L. Queen's "Princes of the Universe"
    M. Queensryche's "Another Rainy Night (Without You)"
    N. Reflex's "The Politics of Dancing"
    O. Rolling Stones' "Love is Strong"
    P. Semisonic's "Closing Time"

Ok - so that's your choices to chose from ... you may choose mutliple choices as well ... but be sure to leave me your ultimate song for my theme song. This is not just my show - this is your show too!

So get to googlin' (on them songs)! And don't forget to set your calendars or podcasting downloading software to download the show - remember its on SATURDAY AND SUNDAY, APRIL 7TH & 8TH - 6 PM (CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME).

See ya then, and I look forward to the feedback regarding the show!
