Luis Benard started doing "Code of the N-Word" and creative writing workshop's in Westchester county working with ACT-SO (Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological and Scientific Olympics for the NAACP and then eventually become a board member. Luis Bernard is from New York. Luis works with organizations such as University Settlement engaging emotionally delayed teens, allowing Luis also allowed to start the "Thug Bible" workshop. Partnering with Glenn Eschevaria of Center for Arts and Culture @ St. Johns the Baptist in Brooklyn, where they have been feeding runaways, incest survivors and teens who just wanted to write in an atmosphere where no one made fun of them.
