Call in to speak with the host
Tonight is a special broadcast as we acknowledge VICTIMS OF ALL CRIMES!! Join me live at 9pm eastern/8pm central/7pm mountain/6pm pacific time. Be sure to prepare yourself to hear about the many different types of crimes and we invite the victims & their families to share with us. Were you a victim of Identity Theft, Robbery or perhaps some other form of personally threatening crime? These types of crimes still impact our family life with the ripple effect of trauma. We must begin to see just how serious we need to address the very real disregard we seem to hold for human life in our society today.
Survivors World is doing just this as we talk with a local incredible resource I've had the pleasure to connect with; supporting all their efforts to reach out into our communities and empower each person with the knowledge of who victims are, what types of crimes are fast becoming a pandemic issue; however focusing most on the young victims of Human Trafficking. Please welcome a personal friend & acquaintance, Ms. Kristen Eng -
Kristen is a graduate from SIUE in Edwardsville, Illinois. She carries a double degree, Mental Health & Counseling. Once she was the child of an alcoholic mother, but today she is Coordinator for the Rescue & Restore Southwestern Illinois Human Trafficking Coalition. I am honored to give my voice as speaker for their events and have met some really major advocate resources giving hope & help in our district.
Friends I hope you invite ANY victims of ANY crime to listen in with us as we share the resources of help & the upcoming National Crime Victims Week Event happening at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows. Come on out and join us for the Resources Fair, Vigil & 5K Run providing support for all those affected by crime.
