Raising Peaceful Children: Special "Teaching Moments"!

"Raising Peaceful Children" is a topic I'm very passionate about and I believe that EVERYONE has a role to play in helping raise peaceful children. Over the next few weeks, I'll be sharing with you, various practices which are supportive of "Raising Peaceful Children". They will be on many different aspects of raising peaceful children such as learning to focus on "what's right", core values, special "teaching" moments and how to become centered yourself.  These programs will be shorter than my usual programs, ranging from 15-30 minutes. If you are important in the life of a child, I invite you to tune in. If inspired, call in and share an insight or a precious moment you shared with a child.

PRACTICE 3:    Special "Teaching Moments"!  There are times that arise when a parent or teacher have an opportunity to 'teach' something very profound.  They can happen in an instant.  When one is aware of such  possibilities you can step into the moment and  respond appropriately. In addition, you can also create such moments.  This will be the focus for today on Raising Peaceful Children.
