Today on the Voice of Change my guest is Sharon Maser.  I'm Sharon Ann Wikoff and pleased to be bringing you this program.  The title of the hour is Feminine Power:  What is it? Why is it Important?

Sharon is passionate about sharing her understanding about the power of women...and women of power.  In this next program Sharon will unpack the issue of feminine power, what it is and why it is important for us to access it. She invites us to look at feminine power and deeply understand it. She says this will help us understand our purpose here and give our lives meaning.  When we understand who we are we will have a platform to then look at how we wish to interact with men, with society, with children, and what issues we might face.

Began her spiritual journey 1971with practices of yoga, meditation, natural foods and spending time in nature. She has explored numerous spiritual teachings and religious pathways, including Buddhism, Native American traditions, Judaism, Hinduism, Christianity, Church of Religious Science and the Goddess. She has studied the teachings of Byron Katie, Leslie Temple-Thurston, Terry Cole-Whitaker, Marianne Williamson, Pema Chodron and many others. Ritual, intuition, expressive arts and movement, and women’s circles have also been a part of her practice. Spiritual practice has been a continuing part of her life.  She has been a student of humanity from biological, cultural, and spiritual perspectives looking to understand what our true nature is. Her Bachelor’s degree is in Human Ethology. She did post graduate work in Education, received a Masters and did Doctoral work in Women’s Studies. She founded the non-profit Women’s School of Healing Arts & Sciences in 1985 and still directs it.
