  As the condition of the world slowly deteriorates and rots within the cacoon of government support, a giant sucking sound can be heard ( Thanks Ross Perot!)
  as the world financial instruments consume tax payer dollar bail out monies as if the only drug in town.
  
  The giant sucking sound which Ross Perot touted was job loss, however continues to apply as more workers are laid off & more goods are imported to support a de-industrialized continent such as North America.
  
  In Canada, we were fortunate to have a more stable banking structure, which prevented the domino effect as in American housing.
  
  We do however also have a very socialistic society,compliments of Liberal Politics.
  
  In all fairness the Canadian banking laws ares due to many Political parties over the years & cannot be accredited to any one portiuon of society.
  
  Unfortunately the Canadian manufacturing industry took an especially devastating hit, forcing hundreds of thousands of workers to loose the prestige of " Made in Canada". The financial pundits have forecasted that Alberta & Saskatchewan will be the supporting Provinces for the other 10 areas of Canada
  - yes the dirty oil dudes!
  
  I recently stumbled upon several older gentlemen from various parts of the United States, debating eachother on the merits & restrictions of the NAFTA agreement.
  One even went as far as to envoke the " Mexicana highway" scare. Others simply had no real concept of the involvement that NAFTA has in the future existance of North America.
  Now if only Mexico would get on the bandwagon properly!
  
  I have listened to the Doom sayers , to the bigots, and bragards in various audio chat rooms, who repeat & blunder their way through twisted historical facts. I have been amazed at the younger generations need for non-bias information on historical actions & mistakes.
  
  Recently one of our younger listeners emailed for clarification on the Cuban missile crisis - we provided the required links....
  
  He was oblivious to that historical moment - & unaware of how close we came to a Nuclear conflict.
  
  The VOCR will continue to provide provoking issues for you to expand your understanding by Thinking Outside the Box -  T.O.B.
