Welcome to Business Black Belt!
My ongoing series on business development.

Each week I interview an angel or VC investor, an expert in business development or financing, or an entrepreneur who offers some keen insights into building your business as well as their own experience working with investors.

Today, I'm talking with Chris Salter, founder and CEO of the Music Wizard Group. a software company that produces music video games that teach music on real instruments. Chris had no formal music training-- in college, he earned double degrees in music and linguistics. He created the Piano Wizard Academy, a full-blown music-education-in-a-box by building a network of investors, consultants, and strategic partners to bring the project to life. He is now working on a Kickstarter campaign to launch the next generation.

Some ideas for our discussion today:
  1. Raised $1 million in the last 5 years
    1. $10 million in the 5 years before
  2. 5-minute investor presentation
  3. How to amplify over social media
  4. Managing - against your gut, some things worked some didn't?!?
  5. What's 1 thing you would do differently?
  6. What is your key to success?
