Napoleon Hill, (author of the classic, “Think and Grow Rich”), wrote another book in 1938, that was hidden away, never before released or published. Because of the very controversial content, it was kept under lock and key! The previously hidden book is called, “Outwitting the Devil”. The Napoleon Hill Foundation chose Sharon Lechter to be the individual who co-authors his new classic and release it to the world.
Therefore today I am going to release a previous Mentors Magazine interview that I had with Sharon. This interview was conducted just before the book release and Sharon gives fascinating "behind the scenes" insight into Napoloeon Hill's thought processes. I was blessed to receive a galley copy (or in other words… an “advanced reading copy”) before our interview. I couldn’t put it down! Napoleon’s work is one of the most profound books I’ve ever read and Sharon feels the same. It was originally written by Hill during The Great Depression, and meant to give people courage. He wanted to inspire a change of thought during very trying economic times. The people during this period were tired and emotionally exhausted. The fact that “Outwitting The Devil” wasn’t released during the time it was meant for, is mind boggling to me. Hill was way ahead of his time, and if the book was released in 1938, it would have been too controversial. But all that being said… the fact that it is being released now is absolutely perfect timing. There are no accidents!
