THE NEW AGE OF ENTERTAINMENT

VintageMusik Radio was birthed with an idea to reshape the media outlet in music and entertainment. I (Br@nded) saw a lot of roadblocks for independent artists, and even people in the entertainment business, and I wanted to provide a voice for those who are considered a notch below, when it comes to this business. I found an outlet to start this when I linked up with blogtalk radio, and VintageMusik Radio was born. The reason is simple, and the movement is direct. We target the underdog’s in this business and help provide a gleam of light, and also pay respects to the artists who have given us, reason to enhance this, which is why I call this an art form. If we need to discuss it, we will let you hear about it. If there’s help needed, we will provide it unconditionally. I believe in strength in numbers that’s why I have assembled a staff of dedicated men and women, with the same common goal of providing something extra for the listeners, and also for the people who are struggling to shine.

    Exclusive Jimmie Reign Interview

    1) I've been a fan of your for a while now, can you explain to the
masses out there, how you got started in the business.

Awww thank you....I've always loved singing- my father was very
instrumental in teaching my sisters and I harmonies and how to
appreciate different types of music. When I was 14, my god-brothers
had me do a hook for them and I fell in love with being in the studio.
Through doing hooks, networking, great management, and being in the
right places at the right times- I've been able to make my mark.

    2) New single "make you wait" is continuing to be a hot one right now,
can you explain to us a little bit about the making of this song, and
    the work put into it.

I was under a lot of pressure to put out another single, but I didn't
just want to put anything out. My manager's brother ( a producer by
the name of Diezel) had been submitting different beats to me and when
I heard this track I loved it. I had a hard time writing to it though
because I normally do mid-tempo/ slower tracks and this one is a lot
faster. Once I figured out what I wanted to write about and how the
timing of my words were going to be, the rest came pretty easy....

    3) Where can the masses find your album?

My mixtape can be downloaded for free at
http://www.bigvon.com/mixtapes/jimmie_reign.zip . It was hosted by BIG
VON of 106 KMEL and was sponsored by singersroom.com and Right ON!
    Magazine.

    4) Any future plans as far as working with mainstream artists?

Well I have already worked with J. Valentine & Clyde Carson who are
both on major labels. I am hoping to get a mainstream rapper on the
remix of "Make You Wait" but we'll see! Cross your fingers!

    5) Whats one personal thing you can share with your fans, hobby,
    something you can share?

A lot of people don't know that I love children. If I wasn't pursuing
a singing career, I would be a teacher.

    6) Any last words you would like to say, because there hundreads of
thousands of fans out there loving your music right now.

Hundreds of thousands?? Geez I'm blushing....ha ha. I'm just happy
that people like and appreciate what I'm doing. I love that there are
so many people who are open to allowing me to share something with
them that is so personal to me, and being able to identify with it.
