Since all of the names in the African world view have a meaning, I wanted to find out the meaning of his name. As an Interfaith Theologian, I began the research of  Barack Obama's  name. Well  first  of all, let me tell  you Oba means  'the KING'.
When you look at his name from the Classical African Civilization, Kemet (Egypt) (Nubia) (Kenya) point of view,the language utilized is known as Metu Neter (called Hieroglyphics in English). Observing closely, two Kametic hints appear.  See Camel Caps : baRAck  oBAma.

In the Kemetic tradition there are two "souls". Ausarian Cosmologics includes the Ba and the Ka. The Ka is the electromagnetic duplicate of the body and the BA is what in the Christian tradition comes down to us as the Soul. In Buddhist/Brahman/Hindu traditions Ka is the root in the word KArma. and DArma is the physical body in its present incarnation.
Ra is the name of the sun neter (force in nature) the life force in the universe (one verse). In the Asian cosmological tradition Ra is the Chi (life force) as in Chi Gong (QI Gong). Chi Gong is the Asian exercise system for maximizing health. Another method of raising the Chi(life force) is by  the invocation of the sound of the universe NAM MYO HO RENGE KYO. Every cell in the body responds to this frequency, thereby irradicating negative KArma

Based on this interpretation, Barack Obama is the King(leader) who will change the soul (BA) of America. ,so that it will join with the spirit of the other civilized nations in the world, to provide health care (RA) for all it citizens. 
He is the leader for the right reason, he is on the right side of history
Now, I would not presume to tell anyone what message Obama's name has for them. But,
since we are all related in the circle,we should do what we can to figure that relationship out, as a guide to how we can best be of assistance to him and the nation.
