Lying to The Holy Spirit

When anyone lies to the Holy Spirit this places them in very dangerous waters.

In the book of Acts Chapter 5 we see a husband name (Annias) and wife name (Sapphira) who lied to the Holy Spirit. Peter asked them why have they allowed satan to fill their hearts with a lie?

The end result for this husband and wife for lying to the Holy Spirit was DEATH.

My question for us today is this," what do you think God will do to you and I when we lie to the Holy Spirit?

In my heart of heart I believe we have many people who have had a physcial death and a spiritual death for lying to The Holy Spirit.
