The Half-Hour You'll Never Get Back

There are at least ten people on any given episode of The Half Hour You'll Never Get Back - and they're all one man - Vince Hase, who has a seemingly unlimited arsenal of quirky sportscasters, advertising hucksters, Life Coaches and politicians to choose from. Meet Frank Prosper, The Self-help guru - call in live and let him screw your life up more than it already is; Media Noir, the film critic who hates film; Bill Williams and Buck Buckerson will call the play-by-play from China - if they manage to not get lost. Bold Sketch Comedy and opinion from one man who's everyone all at once. Sure, it's a half hour you'll never get back - but you'll come back to waste time again and again...

Why is the janitor running the program? Because it's Labor Day, and everyone has the day off...Re-live some moments from past shows, and new stuff as well: Steve Job continues his quest for the Presidency, snowflakes talk, a King searches for a magic sword in the wrong place, and sports shows make the ultimate sacrifice - the virgin kind.

Half Hour Youll Never Get Back-003-Olympians R Us

The Olympics special! Bill Williams and Buck Buckerson finally arrive in China, after taking a very slow boat. Not to be outdone locally, we have coverage of the Gangland Olympics. Frank Prosper will compare himself to an Olympian, and most likely have very favorable results. Media Noir will review 'Tropic Thunder,' and most likely not like it.

Talking to myself - a good thing?

I've come to the conclusion that talking to yourself can be not only helpful, but beneficial. So far, talking to myself is making people smile, laugh and write emails. Generally, the emails are even favorable.

The next Half Hour You'll Never Get Back (episode 3) will feature a live conversation between myself and some of my creations. They'll be calling into BTR from the Olympics in China. Impossible you say? That's the magic, now isn't it? Either that - or I really have lost it, and talking to yourself is really not as good as I thought...

To make sure that I am offering a credible learning experience, Francis Terse will start his new series "Things You Need To Know, " and We'll learn about the new Olympic scoring system in gymnastics.

Oh, yes - And Tommy wants to be your friend. He's a nice kid, even if he IS a little grating, and his choice of play-toys is a little gross.

It's all brought to you by Solveitalbutal (tm) the new prescription drug of choice.

Hope to see you on Monday!

  • Original Air Date:

Half Hour Youll Never Get Back-002-Computers and Scalpels

Featuring: "Inside Steve Jobs Office," and "Surgery 101." Media Noir reviews the new "Mummy," and Frank Prosper helps you get better... Hey! You know that 'deer in the headlights' look? That's the look Vince got on his face when the whole audio system collapsed during this show! There's a HUGE pause before we go into Steve Job's office - but you can't keep Vince down, the humor continues, even when all the theme music disappears...

  • Original Air Date:

The Half Hour Youll Never Get Back - Premiere

The first episode, featuring "Try To Survive This Game Show" and a new musical that proves ABBA has started a bad trend. We also go hunting in New Jersey. Frank Prosper says, "yes you CAN!" and Media Noir reviews "X-Files: I Want To Believe."
