  Balancing Motherhood & the C Suite

  There is an ongoing "debate" as to whether or not women can successfully manage a career AND a family. Both are equally demanding aspects of women's lives that they want to manage successfully. Some say women shouldn't sacrifice their family, specifically their children, to be successful in business. Others say women should go for their dreams and be successful in business to give a good example to their children, specifically their daughters. It isn't a black and white issue. Today's upwardly mobile professional woman has her eye on her family and the prize and aren't settling for one over the other. They learn to make it work without sacrificing quality in either area.   Teen Entrepreneurship

  Out of the mouths and brains of babes come some fabulous business ideas. As adults we are so caught up in managing our lives and getting our kids through school, that we sometimes overlook certain gifts our children posses. While the media and pundits have you believing that we are headed towards implosion, savvy, innovative Teens are stepping up to the plate to help reinvigorate the economy and create opportunities for themselves and others. Long gone are the traditional lemonade stands and bake sales that kids used to be known for. I’m here today with several innovative and entrepreneurial teens who have taken the business world by storm with some pretty incredible businesses. So all the grown folks out there, thinking they can’t start a business or don’t feel they have what it takes, you need to listen up an get inspired by these fabulous teens. I don't ever want to hear any excuses ever again. If these teens can do it and be successful, so can you!
