Women in Technology is a hot topic. But somewhere along the line, Black and Latina women fall into the background in these conversations. We know they exist in the tech world, but Women of color are very rarely seen in strong technology positions. Even with organizations like Anita Borg Institute, Women 2.0 and Women of Color in Technology all championing for more recognition of Women of Color, in main stream media and publications, there is still a very obvious void. But Women of Color, women in general are looking to fill that void. Join me as my guests and I discuss Latinas and Black Women in technology. We will focus on why there isn't as much coverage or acknowledgment of women of color when the conversation of Women in Technology is addressed. We'll also be talking about how to motivate more Women of color to get into tech, how to stay competitive and move ahead in the industry, how to select the best mentors and the best practices for managing a career in tech.
