With Amy Ohm President and Founder of the Treatment Diaries

We can take seemingly negative events in our lives and turn them into positives while providing a victory in the lives of many.  Amy Ohm is one of those entrepreneurs who did just that.  Inspired by a personal experience with a cancer diagnosis that followed not only in her recovery but  also in her entrepreneurial spirit bringing to life a connection she saw missing in social networking for those battling an illness.

Amy created the Treatment Diaries, which uniquely supports the need of those with a severe illness and the desire to connect privately in order to learn from those with a similar experience.  Connection and learning occurs on Treatment Diaries each and every day.  Through complete privacy individuals are allowed to be entirely honest with their needs, while building incredibly strong bonds with otherwise complete strangers.

Health information is one of the most frequently sought after topics on the Internet. Today, there are roughly 3 billion searches occurring on the Internet each day, of which 70% are health related.  Patients, caregivers, advocates, and friends want to learn about real experiences from those with actual treatment insight.  People battling illness, disabilities, chronic conditions, and mental health needs leverage social networking with “like minded” individuals, as a way to manage pain or change the way they cope with a health condition.
Treatment Diaries is social networking with great purpose; connecting like-minded individuals to one another and the resources they need to live well, despite illness.
