Meet Our Guest: I  would say my story is pretty much the same as anyone growing up in ghettos of America. I grew up fast and hard. I was exposed to sex, drugs, and violence at an early age, all of which became the norm for me. Like most writers reading was my oasis. Although I officially dropped out of school at the age of 16, I actually quit going in the tenth grade at the of age 15. It was reading that enabled me to expand my vocabulary as well as enabling me to put my thoughts and words onto paper. I penned my first novel some 19 years later at the suggestion of a police officer from a local precinct. That first work is titled "WARRIORS OF THE WASTELAND".  In my opinion, while it does contain similar scenarios to many stories in the "Urban Lit" genre, I believe this tale will resonate with many readers due to its message of Black empowerment and self-determination. I followed that novel up with a Christian fiction called "INTERVIEWING GOD". I was purposely intent on going in an opposite direction of my first work. This story chronicles the journey of an atheist that God has summoned to Heaven for a face to face.  I'm currently working on my third work, a motivational book!
