On This Episode of The Beautiful Butterfly Radio Show we Welcome Music Producer Stephen Jerome Ferguson, as he shares his latest album " The COLOR of LIFE" with us!

Stephen Jerome Ferguson is a native of Washington D.C. Stephen got involved in music at the age of 12 giving him now over 45 years of experience in the music industry. He has worked with some major talents that include Chuck Brown, The Isley Brothers, Howard Hewett, Patrice Rushen and Roberta FlackStephen formed sjfmusic llc in 2012 as an independent artist production company. As a solo artist and producer, Stephen has released a total of ten albums between 2011 and 2015. His style is a blend of Jazz, R&B, Funk, Dance and Techno. He blends these styles into a smooth, rich sound that has earned him the nickname “Mr. Smooth” and has also earned him the respect of his peers in the industry.

 

Stephen retired from the US Army in 1992. During his time in the Army, Stephen served many years as an instructor at the Non Commissioned Officer’s School where his commander called him one of the best pure teachers he has ever seen. Stephen finished his military career by taking part in Operation Desert Storm with the 1st Armor Division.

With over 40 years experience in the music industry and with almost 20 years of music production and mastering experience, Stephen has earned a reputation as being one of the best in the indie music industry. Blessed with an uncanny ear, his music is clean and balanced. He spends hours studying and listening in order to perfect that unmistakable SJFMusic sound.

Passion, dedication, devotion and love are what he lives by and when you hear his music, you know that you are listening to a talent of the ages.
