Bat Girl Radio w Amy Jo 8pm Et. My name is Jeff Fent and I live with my family in Columbus, Ohio. When I was a child my mother had told me a story of how she and her sister had seen a confederate soldier at the foot of their bed saluting as the radio signed off for the night. So the idea of ghosts and hauntings was familiar to me but never dealt with it myself til my wife and I had some strange pictures taken in a home we were living in. These pictures bothered me so much I took the camera, negatives and pictures to the camera shop to see why the images were in the photos. They said nothing wrong with anything I brought them and it wasn't in the developing so try a different type of film. We did and I caught another image in the same room. It got to the point that every thirty days I would burn a whole roll of film and I always got one picture in that room with a ghostly image in it. This was in the late 1990's. We now live in a beautiful home built over 100 years ago that also has a spirit that makes itself known every so often. Back in 2007 my brother and I formed a group along with two others to start investigating residential homes. Several years after forming this group we merged with a much larger group that was investigating the large well known haunted venues. Thru this group my ties to the Emmitt House in Waverly, Ohio were made. Unfortunately the Emmitt House was destroyed by a horrible fire several years back but my friendship with the owner still lives on. I am now the case manager for United Paranormal Project who is based out of Newark, Ohio. This is a wonderful group of people. UPP not only investigates residential hauntings but has 3 venues it runs paranormal hunts out of. These venues are The Old Licking County Jail, The Twin City Opera House and The Bryn Du Mansion.
