Loving nurturing touch can heal our world and although I am a massage therapist who touches people for a living, I am not only referring to physical touch. I hear young folks always asking the question "you feel me?" As I look into their eyes and watch the mindless ways they try to get attention, I have to wonder if this is a cry out for our most innate form of communication, touch. It's like fresh air and sunshine; essential to our well-being, touch is. So ask yourself, when was the last time you've been touched. When was the last time your body, mind and spirit has been fed by another human? Not your dog or your blanket or even the Holy Spirit but another who was birthed by the one who was made when God said, "it's not good for man to live alone." I beg you to open your heart and mind to your sister, your brother, your mom, your dad, your lover and be healed. Not merely from the touch, but through the power of letting go of fear and allowing yourself to feel. Peace and love, Versandra
