Join the American Hottentot for "The Venus Revolution Radio Show," airing Thursday, February 12, beginning at 10:00 p.m. This week, my guest will be "Adanna" Gloria Lawson, Founder of the Restoration Teleconference, a teleconference and forum for women of African descent to gather, share our stories, heal our wombs, celebrate our victories, strengthen our cultural and community bonds through our ancestral and spiritual lineage and be on purpose. "Adanna" Gloria Lawson is a poet, author, benefactor, college prep consultant, professional speaker and facilitator. This Thursday's program is entitled Poetry Therapy with Adanna, and will feature Adanna using her own poetry to explore feelings, issues and healing through the feminine spirit. She will also share Chinua Achebe's, "Refugee Mother and Child" as a tool for dialogue, interpretation and healing.
