VENERATION RADIO WELCOMES TWO MEN FROM VERY DISTINCT AND UNLIKELY BACKGROUNDS MERGING FORCES TO EXPOSE THE VIOLENCE, CORRUPTION, AND GENTRIFICATION OF NEWBURGH, NY., THROUGH THE EYES OF TIMMY HAYES. THESE MEN:BURNEST CRUMPLER AND JOHN GORDON LOWEN COLLABORATED TO BRING TRUTH TO THE REST OF US... THE MOVIE "GRAVEYARD" IS ALSO A TALE OF VICTORY AND DETERMINATION. IT ALSO DEMONSTRATES HOW INCREDIBLE REQUIRE INCREDIBLE MEASURES TO OVERCOME ADVERSITY... BURNEST CRUMPLER, is a master of the spoken word, a collector and conveyer of the stories and wisdom of previous generations, as well as community activist, artist and ordained street minister. He is co-founder of Manhood Revisited, a grassroots platform for men to discern where and how the child, man and elder inside of themselves interact with each other. His ministry has been a catalyst for men to take responsibility for mentoring the child inside themselves, and to support each other in reaching out to men who have not yet learned how. Rev Crumpler has incorporated film making into his ministry, creating documentaries about the unsung heroes, positive role models and mentors in his community that mainstream media has not recognized. JOHN LOWEN, Mr. Lowen’s first film release, “One Day In Clarksdale”, a Blues Documentary of the last recording session at WROX, won the ‘Transcendence in Time Award’ at The Paso Robles Digital Film Festival, in Paso Robles California in 2008. It has also been shown at Film Festivals in Reno Nevada, Atlanta Georgia and Jackson Mississippi and has been selected by New Zealand’s Documentary Film Festival to be part of their educational library. HERE THEM TELL THE TALE OF THEIR BOND AND WORK, IN THEIR OWN WORDS ON VENERATION RADIO...646-200-0609
