A Variety of Meatless Monday Dishes from Different Regions of India

    in Cooking

Adding some Indian dishes to your repertoire will provide you with some bold flavor options for your meatless menus. These meatless dishes will appeal to vegetarians and non-vegetarians,who want a variety of flavors and textures, while still being very budget-friendly. I've broken up Indian cuisine into 6 regional types: Bengali, Jewish Calcutta, Anglo Eurasian Christians of Calcutta, Parsi (Persian) Zoroastrians, Hindu & Muslim Kashmiri, and the Tibetan Buddhists of Darjeeling.

Indian cuisine includes an array of exotic spices and vegetables for ingredients, so I will be spending a bit of time describing and giving tips on the preparation of these items, including where they can be found.

Thank you all for listening this month. During the month of March we have been discussing protecting and repairing your body from Cancer damage, which was also the topic featured at my monthly Open House that took place yesterday, Thursday March 26th at my office in West Los Angeles. We had a lovely guest speaker and Licensed Acupuncturist Lucy Postolov, who was very informative and spoke brilliantly. MMSRS #35 - Manly BBQ Grilling Tips and Tricks

    in Military

Join host Dave Etter and various Male Spouse callers as they discuss secret BBQ tips and tricks with listeners. Call in and add your tip to the mix! (516) 453-9167 to call in!

MMSRS is a weekly 2-hour web-based radio show, hosted by Dave Etter, focusing on the needs of men married to serving military members, both men and women. Male Military Spouses are a small niche of military spouses, comprising of only 7%-8% of all military spouses. We feel left out, usually, at support functions - especially those designed with the spouses being identified as "wives"! We get cajoled at playgrounds where our kids play, from the mommies there who think we don't belong. We are proud SAHDs, who gave up our careers to follow our spouses as they dedicate thier lives to defend our country! Here, on this show, we come together and share beer recipes, diaper changing techniques, financial discoveries - manly things, for men! Airs Fridays at Noon CT, rated R for the cussing that can occur, and available for download (podcast) immediately following each show.
