Call in to speak with the host
Every school year comes with a myriad of high school graduations.
Those graduations are usually accompanied by the ubiquitous valedictory speech. 2010's valedictorian speech for Coxsackie-Athens High School in upstate New York should've been like every other across the country, and it would've been... Except for the person giving the speech.
Class Valedictorian Erica Goldson's words that day became both an inspirational and scathing indictment of our education system that was destined to go viral, and she'll be my guest this afternoon.
Join me as I interview Erica and we discuss what led to that speech, how it was received - and more importantly - what Erica has been up to since her graduation. We'll also turn our attention to what she sees as possibilities for the future of education.
This is a can't miss interview, and I hope you'll join us this afternoon to find out what exactly Erica said that caught the ear (and raised the hackles) of so many people, read the transcript of the speech at Erica's blog HERE:
