Paul Phillips was one of the lead guitarists of the band Puddle of Mudd. He grew up playing the guitar, following in the footsteps of his father. Phillips played with a number of bands before joining Puddle of Mudd. He produced four albums with the band, including Come Clean in 2001, Life on Display in 2003, Volume 4: Songs in the Key of Love &
Hate in 2009, and most recently, Re:(disc)overed in 2011. Phillips left the band in 2005, returned again in 2009, and then left once more in November of last year. No matter where he chooses to go next, Phillips clearly has the talent and experience necessary to continue on with his already remarkable career. With his mixture of outstanding musicians like Guns N’Roses, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Led Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd as influences on his music, Phillips is on a clear path to be an influentially creative musician for a long time.
