Host Rhonda Brackett, B.Msc., teaches the principles of the Law of Attraction. She can be reached by email at Rhonda@RhondaMBrackett@gmail.com or by phone at (314) 596-2356.

Her guest this afternoon is Rick Staggenborg. Rick Staggenborg, MD, is Board President, Take Back America for the People; Board member, Abolish Corporate Personhood Now; Member, National Council of Alliance for Democracy; and Founder, Soldiers For Peace International.

Rick is a former VA psychiatrist and now full time political activist living in Coos Bay, OR. He is married and the father of four who grew up in a Catholic family and renounced religion at age 10 because he did  not believe that others should tell him what to believe. He was an agnostic for 40 years but an experience in 1990 led him to more seriously question the existence of some sort of God or higher force in the Universe. His thinking about the possible nature of God eventually led him to conclude that it was more likely than not that some divine force that was larger than all of us was acting in our lives.

Rick recognized in 2010 that the US government had become corrupted by its members' dependence on corporate money and that the the economy collapsed as a result and realized  no one was held accountable. Americans were dying by the 10s of thousands every year from lack of health care, and we were entering into a period where there were endless war for the corporate Empire.

Rick made a decision to quit my job to run for the US Senate and eventually become a full time activist for democracy on the US and ending war in the world. He realized there would be many other benefits as well. Rick can be reached at 541-217-8044.
