Guest: Niki- was born in Germany and has lived in Spain, Croatia, India, Philippines, Vietnam and Dubai, but did not train in tennis much as a youngster.   In Spain she was only 3 yrs old while Maja coached WTA side of Gimeno Academy while Roy Coopersmith Niki's dad coached the ATP side. Niki started playing USTA tournaments while in Louisiana at 10 yrs old. At 11 she was #2 in USTA southern section 12s while playing 6-8 tourneys and at 12 yrs old she was also #2 southern section u 14s and only played 8 tourneys. At 13 niki started ITF got to 2 semi and a quarters then stopped ITF. Niki has played a $25,000 and $10,000 but injury forced retirement in the 25k. Now niki just did quite well in an ITF and is once again ITF ranked with 1 tourney 1136. Maja Palaversic was #1 in 14s, 16s, and 18s in old Yugoslavia. She played WTA and ITF and got a ranking top 200 or so at 16 yrs old. Maja has played doubles with Monica Seles at Family Circle beating Liezel Huber and Nicole Arendt. Maja has wins over Sandrine Testud, Hantuchova, Daniliidou, Anke Huber in jrs. and Roberto Vinci in WTA. now Maja coaches full time.
