Arlene Brathwaite, raised in Albany, New York, is a wife and a mother. She left her job with the State of New York to focus on starting and operating her own business, Variety A+ Beauty Supplies & More. As an author, she has propelled herself into the literary world with her debut novel, Youngin’, and has continued her upward momentum with the follow-up, Ol’Timer and her latest release Butta Cutz. As a publisher, she also owns and operates Brathwaite Publishing. A company she created and designed specifically to assist aspiring writers to get their books into print and distributed across the country.
