About the author: Upon receiving her BA degree in Communications/Journalism from SpringHill College in Mobile, Alabama in 2002, it didn’t take long for Carla S. Pennington to realize that her heart was set on writing fiction novels. Therefore, she quickly began pursuing that dream.

 

In 2005, Carla published her first novel, 'FLING' and in March 2008, one of her short stories CRUSIN was featured in an anthology of erotica called 'Mocha Chocolate: Taste A Piece of Ecstasy.'  In February 2010, her short story DECEITFUL LOVE was featured in another erotic anthology ‘Chocolat Historie D’amour.’ In July 2010, her short story POINT AND CLICK LOVER was featured in the follow up to the 2008 erotic anthology called ‘Mocha Chocolate: Escapades of Passion’. In 2011, her second novel 'The Available Wife' was published through Life Changing Books, its sequel, ‘The Available Wife 2,’ in November 2011 and a stand-alone, “My Counterfeit Husband” in 2013.  Also in 2013,Carla released a short story duet, “A Night to Forget,” for Peace In The Storm’s Pillow Talk Duets anthology and her short story “Dirty” is featured in national, bestselling author ZANE”s Chocolate Flava 4 anthology. You can also fin d Carla’s erotic e-shorts, “The Escort and The Escort part 2” on Amazon’s Kindle. Carla is currently working on a number of other projects that will be released in the future.

 

In 1996, Carla was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), a neurological disease that has no known cure but possesses many treatments to slow down its progression. She refuses to let the disease interfere with her life and keeps at her dream of becoming a bestselling author and continues to be an active mom.
