Uppity Wisconsin  

We're really pumped here to be bringing back the Uppity WIsconsin Radio Show.  It's been a long time.  Our first guest of the new era is Jennifer Nordstrom.  Jennifer runs the Carbon Free Nuclear Free campaign for the Institute for Energy and Environmental Research.  Jennifer and I will talk about Carbon Free Nuclear Free power in Wisconsin, and the political issues revolving around it, particularly in relation to the Nuclear Moratorium in Wisconsin. 

Wisconsin has not had any new nuclear power facilities due to a law that prevents the building of nuclear power plants until such time that there is a repository for nuclear waste, and nuclear power becomes economically competitive with the alternatives.

The nuclear industry is currently making a big attempt at having the current law removed from the books, opening the state to nuclear power.
