I know--"pooping rainbows" doesn't exactly scream high-quality books, but really, this is what we need to think about: do we want to slam out crappy books? Or do we want to create awesomeness? There's been a lot of talk around writing four books a year: should you? Is this the only way to make money?

Patricia and I discuss why your first book--or your twenty-fifth--should be your best possible work, even if it takes a year or longer to write. If you've been frustrated by the apparent lack of quality indie books (and there's plenty of traditionally published examples too), this is your show.

PS--we're going to try podcasting live for the next few months. So keep an eye out for our announcements, and join us with YOUR questions!
