OLA ONABULÉ is an inspiring artist for the 21st Century in a time of great change in the music industry.  Ola has been incredibly tenacious in his career forging ahead to create a body of work that is quite remarkable for an artist of independent means.   Ola has written, recorded and produced 7 albums on his label, Rugged Ram Records, with the most recent album entitled, SEVEN SHADES DARKER.  The quality of Ola’s production and recording has attracted endorsements from the illustrious Neumann and Sennheiser of Germany and ACS in the UK.  Neumann has been a considerable support to his work in terms of resources and equipment.
Ola’s emotionally charged live performances and impactive shows have taken Ola and his band to some of the most prestigious festival stages, concert halls and jazz clubs as well as several different tours in the UK and around the world.  In Germany, Ola has collaborated with The WDR Big Band in Cologne Philharmonie, The Babelsberg Film Orchestra in Nikolaisaal Potsdam and most recently with The SWR Big Band at the Jazzfest Aalen with arrangements of his beautifully crafted songs
