One of the greatest joys of Christian fellowship is to lift our voices together in praising our wonderful savior. While this is a blessing of Christian fellowship, the issue of just which music actually praises the Lord is a debate that actually divides many Christians. Is there music that is unacceptable in worship? How does the doctrine of separation affect what type of music we praise the Lord with? Recently, some have even been wondering if Christians can use Hip Hop to communicate the great truths of the faith. Is this appropriate for the Christ? We will be asking these questions and many more to Brother Scott Aniol, the executive director of Religious Affections Ministries and author of Worship in Song.
