This week’s topic: “Money, Empowerment & Thinking Big” with special guest Ekaterina Mitiaev, UK Director of The Hunger Project.

When reading Lynne Twist’s “The Soul of Money” (a book I highly recommend by the way!) I came across The Hunger Project, which Lynne was a big part of for about 20 years. I was very impressed by the way this organization seeks to help by empowering people with resources, instead of doing things for them.

In fact, they may be going to apply some methodologies in the UK that have worked in Africa – how’s that for a change of perspective?

This is going to be one heck of a show and I suggest you put this in your diary to listen in live, call in and chat! (Or email me on Una@UnaDoyle.com).

Ekaterina Mitiaev became UK Country Director of The Hunger Project in 2005. Previously, she had extensive project management experience from coordinating large telecom projects in the United Kingdom, Russia and Israel. She holds an MBA from London Business School and is particularly interested in the subject of knowledge management and how it can be applied to international development.
