    The New BNR

    BNR is changing...for the better. As many of you have noticed, we have branched out quite a bit from our original format and subject matter.

    Let me tell you why.

    It's hard to get pumped up to do an hour of radio if we don't feel passionate about the subject. And quite frankly, it's hard to get pumped up to talk about the same thing week in and out, especially when there's an absence of new and interesting interview subjects.

    BNR was the first one to bring you a completely uncensored interview with drug dealer David Jacobs and it quickly became our most popular episode. Then we broke that record and helped make 'War of the Bloods in my Veins' a New York Times Bestseller when we had former Blood gang-leader DaShaun Morris on the show. We've since had Bigger Stronger Faster director Chris Bell, Pick-Up artist Johnny Montana, and other great guests on the show.

    The underlying theme is that BNR is all about providing great entertainment for guys like  us    : Guys who enjoy talking about girls, working out, watching flicks, listening to rock/metal, and hearing great stories from interesting people.

    Don't get us wrong. We still work out and love to shag fitness babes, but it's time to expand our horizons.

    Most importantly, we want YOU to stay with us. Let us know who you'd like to hear.

    One Year Anniversary

    Hey BNR Fans,

    November 2008 marked our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY. Like any show, BNR certainly had its ups and downs during our first year. What started out as a goof on a message board (thanks Bluto) quickly became the #1 bodybuilding/fitness show in the world and through our provocative guests and questions, BNR made national headlines.

    However, as Spiderman's Uncle Ben said, "With great power comes great responsibility," and we learned that the hard way. With the mysterious demise of our friend David Jacobs, our commentary pissed off the powers that be and we soon found ourself without a forum to promote our show.

    Some would have thrown in the towel, but BNR persevered, adapting to the changing landscape and finding our own interest in bodybuilding quickly waning. Opening up our show to different topics opened up the show to new fans and after some low points over the summer, we bounced back in the fall with some renewed vigor.
