I have enjoyed the whole week, but learning a valuable lesson today. Taking notes or watching chats is challening if I really want to HEAR the speaker. And trust me, if you are in doubt about buying a ticket it is worth every cent. Please invest in your homeschool, for at least the next year and listen to these again carefully whenever you have a need. Good stuff!

Cindy, These talks have been so wonderful to 'fuel'me up again! I have mentioned before that I live in New Zealand in the deep South and we don't have many opportunities to hear good speakers live. It is such a blessing to have access to the wonderful speakers and topics you have had lined up. Just to show how blessed I have been, when my sons woke up last night with croup, I was excited because it was 2:30 and I decided to just stay up even after they had gone back to bed so I could listen to Felice. I am going to be shattered today, and all my kiddies have terrible throats and chest, but I don't mind 'cos I am so encouraged! Thankyou for the blessing you are to us all! Ruth in New Zealand.

WOW, great question..My testimony. Well, Cindy, I can't tell you how much what you do has meant to me. It is so hard to find others with the same beliefs. Until I talked to you, I knew noone else who did not do sleepovers. So, even though I may not know anyone else eho doesn't do them, I am like, Well, Cindy Rushton doesn't either. LOL This Expo has been very encouraging and uplifting. I love hearing from all of the speakers. I would never know any of these people if it were not for your expo! You help connect people and I know that I can trust those here because I know how careful you are on who you allow. I have met some wonderflu women on the chat and made some friends. My daughter has met some pen pals. It is more than an expo. It connects people. Everyone here I have wanted to listen to. Noone has been boring! LOL I have seen God work in my life through your expo by giving just the right things to just the right people in this expo. I have won just what was needed for me and am so grateful. This is my 1st time at a UHSE. So far every session I've been able to listen to has had something for me to learn, even the ones I thought weren't something I'd be interested in. I know that it is important to be in the Word, but I have let it slide, and I really appreciated the reminder to make it a priority for my whole family. I love the UHSE! Cindy has been so blessed by God in the ability to set these up to bless all of us! This is my 2nd year "attending". These really help me in my planning for the coming year & for summer activities as well. God really knows what we need & leads Cindy & the speakers to speak & enables them to guide us in the way He wants us to follow. One thing that stood out to me is that Deut. 6 was mentioned in EVERY session I have attended so far :) Thanks for the "meat" of this years UHSE! May God continue to bless all of you!

A testimony... This workshop is a testimony in itself. I get up every morning so excited to get on line , waiting for air time. I love too learn something new everyday. With this Expo, you can not help but to learn something. Listening to all the biblical knowledge is so beautiful to the ear. I am so glad that I am finally part of a family of Homeschooling. I knew there were lots of other families out there that do what I do everyday, now I have the access to them. This in itself is worth the spending of the ticket money. I look forward to learning so much more, as the week goes on. Cindy, I thank God for a sister like you. Taking your time to care about other sister's and brother's in Christ. This is my third year to be involved in the UHSE. Three years ago I was at a point of wanting to do something better than "school at home" but didn't know how. Cindy has taken me and many more like me and taught me a better way. She has the best speakers sharing with us and always I come away blessed, even when I wasn't sure that I needed a particular subject. This is truly the best money I spend each year on "school".

I've attended all of the Ultimate Home School Expos, and they just keep getting better and better. The topics are always relevant and beneficial to moms in real life. The preview chats are so good and the week of the event is so fun and exciting. I have really been blessed by all that I've learned, and my children have been blessed by what I do because of what I've learned.

The Ultimate Homeschool Expo has came at the perfect time. Our lives have been in a transition and growth period. The tips we have started applying already have made our lives smoother and closer as a family. There is such a wealth of information that we can use for years to come. Due to a move, I knew that the possibility of me attending a homeschool convention was very slim. I am so grateful for Cindy hosting this online event which allows anyone to join no matter where they are located. All of the talks thus far have really been uplifting which is something I really needed right now. I'm constantly amazed at the wisdom that comes from these talks.

I began to be lifted up this past weekend when I was so fortunate to win a ticket to this wonderful Expo! Cindy Carrier and the Values Driven Family website were the ones who blessed me with the ticket, otherwise I could not have afforded it. So you know I wasn't going to miss her seminar! From there I have been blessed with many things in my life.I have been so humbled because I don't know what I'd done to receive such things. Then I thought about the trials in my life lately....and I have been diligent in conversing with the Lord. I had started a Bible study on parenthood and a prayer journal this past week. God is so forgiving! I just want to Thank Cindy for this ticket, you are a God-send! This will help me so much as a new homeschooler and Christian!

This 2009 event has already changed some of my ideas for 2009/10 school year. I was too book orientated and a sheriff to get school done! To become more relaxed and seeking Gods instruction for every day, every lesson and every book too. To love my children unconditionally, to seek Jesus' face early each morning and 'trust Him for each moment'.

Thank you so much for heading up the UHSE. I love listening to each and every speaker. Every day, something is said by someone that ministers directly to me and confirms what God is showing me in regards to the direction of my children's education.
This event is something I have been looking forward to since last year! Even though my life is going on around me, and I am not catching as much as I'd like...I know that every word, every moment snatched at the computer will germinate and produce good fruit in me. I have learned so much. I am pretty new to lapbooking. I have just started my first one with my 7 year old on ladybugs and she is loving it. Thank you. I also have shown this to one of my professors and did a unit plan on Thanksgiving for school with it and she really loved it.

I LOVED this workshop on Lap Books! It was very informative and I was able to learn several tips that I didn't know before such as using cardboard to stabilize the the ziplocks you are storing your lap book parts in. I also liked the tip about using spray adhesive. Thank you very much for providing this workshop to us Cindy and Tammy!

Tammy talked about lapbooks -- I had already done a few with my son in preschool and kindergarten -- but I had no idea how many learning objectives could/should be covered by all ages including High School! I now know how to get my 7th grader to really get into his studies! He is an artist not a writer and this will be awesome for him in subjects he traditionally glazes over in!
