Oluwo Ogunbayo Aloyinlapa is a Babalawo and master Bata drummer of the Yoruba Ifa/Orisa tradition. It his mission, given to him by the Ifa and the Irunmoles, to share the Yoruba way of life with all those who are seeking. Baba teaches and performs the ancient rituals of Ifa/Orisa exactly the way it has been handed down for thousands of years. Oluwo has been in the US for over 10 years and has a deep understanding of the trials and issues of Blacks in America and our deep need to reconnect and complete our Ancestral obligations. He applies the Odu and his understanding of the wisdom in a way that helps us to heal. Oluwo is founder and chief priest of Ile Abalayenifa Cultural Training Insitute. Our goal is train any student who wishes to follow the path of Ifa/Orisa. At the Institute we learn the deep protocols that cause our Ancestors to respond powerfully in our lives. Oluwo is also a master Bata drummer who has performed internationally. His most recent performance was for the Ooni of Ifa and the eleven Obas (Kings) at Harvard University. Oluwo has a peaceful and loving spirit and loves questions about this most beautiful and holy of traditions.
