    Means to Her Worship!

On our program we have discussed many ways in which to worship the Goddess, the Afrikan Goddess. One of those means is to chant her name repeatedly. I will list various Goddesses, from which you may study and find one you may be in tune with. Personally I have two, their names are Kali and Sekhmet! I simply feel in tune with them, thus I submit to that feeling, for it is based in truth!

    List of Afrikan Goddesses

    Kali-Ma

    Oshun

    Yemaya

    Astarte

    Oya

    Oshun

    Mawu

    Al'lat

    Nyame

    TseTse

    Bast

    Auset

    Neith

    Nut

    Sekhmet

amongst others! Study them and their attributes, you do not need an intermediary to worship the Goddess, just love her and do as she instructs. She is Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, Elder, Warrior, Priestess, Shaman, Sorceress, Goddess! She is the tree, the plants, the air, the fire, the thunder, she is the dark night and the sun in the middle of day!

You may wish assistance, in this case buy some beads, commonly called Prayer Beads or Mala, similar to the Rosary. This should contain 108 beads as this number is found to be sufficiently significant in remembering a Mantra, in our case the power of the goddess invoked through her name.

By calling on her name repeatedly her understanding will fill you and her power will grow with you. It is very simple, nothing cultish, which is usually how people deem a new idea, or rather new for them! The Catholic church has Rosaries, Muslims speak the 99+1 names of Allah or rather attributes, why not the Goddess? Yes her name carries power, yes she is divinity and yes we can worship her!

Simply sit to yourself with your beads which can use the colors of the Goddess whose mantra you will have , remember you should "feel" her, the name itself will resonate with you upon thinking, meditating or dreaming about her! I dreamt of dancing with Kali, and Sekhmet's Lioness energy just speaks to my Leo soul!  Sit to yourself in preferably the quiet although sometimes depending on your day you may reach for this to help calm you or focus you. These beads can be made of  semiprecious stones such as carnelian and amethyst One of the most common and least expensive material is sandalwood. My suggestion is that you may find them in a stone or wood that is pleasing to your Goddess, you may have an ability to make them, if you can contact me, I will help promote you!!!

Sitting to yourself and remembering the attributes you admire in that Goddess, and then taking the roped beads in your hand, right or left, whatever is comfortable for you. Recite the name of your Goddess, pushing the beads starting at the first nearest to the tied end and push them through your fingers, repeat this untill you hit the last bead! Spend 30 minutes or do this some nine times. Perhaps three times a day, and then as needed. The Goddess' attributes and her power are then committed to your spirit.
