When Do Our Kids Stay With Us In Church Service... And When Should They Go?
It's a bigger issue than many within the Christian Church realize, and it's one that has caused countless tears to be shed by both child and parent; especially by mothers. When the local church requires children to be separated from their parents for the duration of the service, it affects both parent and child. But what exactly is the effect?
Some advocates of split services say that it allows the parents the freedom to do what they need to do, while affording the child the ability to learn and grow with their own peers. Meanwhile, opponents claim that it is detrimental to the child's spiritual growth, their parent-child bond, and their mental and emotional well-being.
