The GYPSY'S SKIN ART SHOW is dedicated to promotion of the world's oldest art forms: Tattooing and Piercing. Every week The GYPSY will cover topics concerning the Body Art lifestyle and will answer questions about Tattooing and Piercing. I can accept questions on proper tattooing and piercing procedures, including but not limited to, licensing, sterilization, studio promotion, safety, what to look for in an artist/studio, aftercare, apprenticeship, studio management and proper design/piercing placement. I can also rate artistic quality. We also can answer questions on tattoo/piercing resources, i.e.; books, videos, studios and artists/piercers. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING BEFORE ASKING YOUR QUESTION: I will NOT answer "How To" questions. If you want to know how to tattoo or pierce do the right thing and seek out a formal apprenticeship. Tattooing and piercing are not a "Learn On Your Own" professions. THE GRAVEMINDERS BIO: FOLLOW-UP TO 08/25/08 SHOW

Born in the midwest USA Wayne Wright (AKA GraveMinder) had a love for the open road and motorcycles at the tender age of 9.  He began sketching and toying with art at this time. Other roads were in store for him and at 17 he went into the Navy. After traveling the world for 6 years in the military he went to work in the factories. Art at that time was far from his mind. His love for motorcycles and the freedom the biker lifestyle brought him continued and his love for art returned. It took many different roads as he searched for a medium that would truly reflect his love and devotion to the spirit of motorcycles and the open road. He studied biker artists like Dave Mann in Easyrider magazine and Jack Knight of Supercycle fame with a fervor. Never having a formal art education other than general studies in high school he fast learned that self teaching was the way for him. He picked up an airbrush and began learning to express his love for bikes in his garage. After struggling a while with that medium he moved on to conventional brush and canvas. Not liking that medium either he strayed a bit from his art and opted to give up art and go racing and got married. The next 15 years he drag raced motorcycles and dragsters. Never wandering too far from art he bought a computer in the early 80's and started toying around with Digital art. When the Internet came of age so did the age of online tutorials. While working 2 and 3 jobs at a time to support his toyz(bikes, streetrods, and  what ever else caught his eye.) in local bike shops he diligently spent all his waking free time studying art and computer graphics online. He soon relized that his extensive backround of riding for many years came in handy when he started working with digital 3d modeling and creating scenes of the biker lifestyle. His eye for detail and love for bikes came together and he started creating art pieces that many consider truly beautiful.  He currently is featured on the Cruisin Goods Website and has featured products with the Bradford exchange and Hamilton mint. He was J&P Cycles featured artist in their 06 Harley catalog. He has been featured in several national magazines doing covers and centerfolds and currently sold art worldwide. Also look for him at many of the large biker events across the USA.
