    As a black man, I can say that I succeeded 37 years

    I see a college educated and a military man.
    Fought in Saudi in the 90's
    Serve in Haiti in 94,
    Kuwait in recently
    cried on 911
    saw six month deployments,
    7 months service in Saudi in 03-04.
    Gave blood for red cross, held blood
    from wounded men I carried.
    Seven burrials out a sea, seven
    families for flags I had to carry for the barried
    A poet chose my words
    given the gift od speach
    I speek what I learn and heard
    word
    I am the future of guidance
    and bringing bruthas back to Kings
    the unifiy to a generation of Gems in I
    I will be the procreator next to our creator
    to produce seeds for the for single Queen
    a man of poetic and spritual future
    the one who revived his race
    this is just a taste of man
    born in the divide of two sides
    one in shadow I hold
    the brown, black, silver to gold
    I'm here, Born again every year I survived
    As I stand, For the Fallen, but Never Failed,
    continuing the name in future seeds,
    I am a survivor, I am a poet, I am a man still alive.
